Our Story · Chandler, Arizona

Built on Trust.
Driven by Family.

Cornerstone isn't a call center or a corporation. It's a father and son who believe insurance should feel like talking to someone who genuinely has your back.

Meet James,
The Owner

James has spent over two decades in the Arizona insurance market doing something most agents don't: actually explaining what you're buying. No pressure, no jargon, just a straight answer from someone who genuinely knows the industry inside and out.

Before starting Cornerstone, James coached high school basketball here in the Valley at Tri-City Christian Academy. That experience working with families, building trust, and showing up when it matters carried directly into how he runs the business. His clients don't feel like policy numbers. They feel like people he's personally responsible for.

For over 20 years he built Cornerstone on word of mouth alone. No ads. No billboards. Just people telling their friends: "call James, he'll take care of you." That reputation is the most valuable thing we have, and we protect it with every client interaction.

"I got into insurance because I wanted people to feel the way I make my own family feel: informed, protected, and never alone when something goes wrong."

Next Generation

Meet Cason

After serving in the military and working in the detailing industry, Cason joined Cornerstone with one goal: take everything his dad built through 20 years of integrity and build the systems around it so more Arizona families can experience that same level of care.

He's getting his P&C license and bringing a new energy to Cornerstone: modern tools, faster responses, and the same unwavering commitment to never selling someone something they don't need.

"I hit a deer once. Totally freaked out. I called my dad and he just walked me through everything, calm as anything. That's the feeling I want every Cornerstone client to have. Like calling someone who actually knows what to do and actually cares."

What We Stand For

The Cornerstone Difference

These aren't marketing words. They're the standards we hold ourselves to on every single call, every single policy, every single claim.

Radically Honest

If you're already in a great spot, we'll tell you that, even if it means you don't switch to us. We don't earn your trust by closing a deal. We earn it by telling you the truth.

We Actually Pick Up

When something happens, whether it's a fender bender, a storm, or a question at 9pm, you shouldn't get a voicemail or a ticket number. You should get a person. That's us.

Your Advocate, Always

We work for you, not the insurance company. When there's a claim, when your rate goes up, when something doesn't seem right, we're in your corner fighting for the outcome you deserve.

Plain English, Always

Insurance is confusing by design. We un-confuse it. You'll always know exactly what you're buying, what it covers, and why we recommend it, in language that actually makes sense.

We Care. Genuinely.

We don't get paid by you. We get paid by the carriers. So our only incentive is making sure you're happy, protected, and taken care of. That alignment is everything.

Annual Advocacy

We re-shop your policy every year before your renewal, proactively, not after you ask. If we find something better, we'll tell you. If you're already winning, we'll tell you that too.

Our Only Ask

We Don't Take Your Money.
We Just Ask for One Thing.

Cornerstone earns commissions directly from the insurance carriers. You never pay us a dime. Our service is completely free to you. The only thing we ask is this: if we took good care of you, please leave us a Google review. It helps us find more Arizona families who need what you got: an advocate, not a salesperson.

Ready to Feel Protected?

15 minutes is all it takes. We'll look at what you have, shop the market, and give you our honest take. No pressure, no obligation, no commission-chasing.
