For many years, I was an insurance agent that could only offer the rates and products of one company. Now as an independent insurance agent, I can offer rates and products from multiple companies. This allows my clients to get the insurance products they need at the best price available, now and in the future.

Before I became an insurance agent, I thought I was properly covered. I had "full coverage" on my vehicle. What I didn't realize was that my agent had given me state minimum liability limits to keep the cost low. My monthly cost was cheap but I would have gladly paid the extra $15-$20 a month to have higher limits and protect my family's financial future. Once I became an agent, my goal was to educate my clients to make sure they understood what they were paying for and that they had proper coverage limits to protect their way of life.
